Yearning to Travel Again

It has now been over a year since the Covid lockdown and just over 3 years since we last traveled abroad. Though my heart has been filled in so many ways these last few years, I still feel as though there is a small piece missing

I've been following my own advice in my blog post, "Cure Your Wanderlust (For Now)". I also constantly have flashbacks to previous travels. Honestly, since our last trip to Europe, there hasn't been a day that goes by when I don't think of some form of travel. I miss everything about it and all of the feels that come with it.

When will we have the opportunity to travel to again? The uncertainty is certainly disheartening.

Though our traveling has come to a long halt, I stay positive during these crazy times and still feel extremely grateful that we even had the opportunity to explore many beautiful countries of Europe this past decade. I do know there will be a day when we can finally book our first trip abroad as a family of three. I am really looking forward to that day with all the other adventures to follow. In the meantime, I will continue to find ways to "cure my wanderlust for now" as well as reminisce and remember all of the amazing trips we took pre-Covid.
